James Ferguson

In September 2018, I became the Specialist Leader of Education of Design and Technology for the Cabot Learning Federation and have thoroughly enjoyed working collaboratively with colleagues in BBA, across the CLF and beyond.

I have enjoyed being able to use my knowledge and passion for Design and Technology to influence the education, achievement and well-being of children and young people more widely. I feel very fortunate to have recently been involved with the recruitment and support of NQTs at City Academy. This exciting project has seen the DT Department relaunch itself back into the City Academy Bristol Curriculum and is already proving to be extremely popular with the students.

My goal is to lead a team of amazing teachers that instil the necessary skills that allow our students to develop into respectful, compassionate and competent members of society that can serve the Cabot Learning Federation, Bristol and beyond.
