Assessment Day

The assessment day process is both an opportunity for us to find out more about you and your eligibility and an opportunity for you to discover if we are the right provider for you.

A typical day involves:

  • A personal welcome and an introduction to the programme
  • A short pre-prepared teaching task with pupils
  • A presentation
  • A written task
  • An individual interview
The SCITT team aim to make you feel as comfortable as possible on the day so that you are able to feel at ease and be at your best.
  • “It has been great to share my training journey with a network of likeminded supportive trainee teachers.”
